About the Center

Seattle Reflexology & Massage Center (SRMC) was established in 1992, at a time when reflexology was almost unheard of in the Northwest. SRMC founders pioneered the effort to educate the public about reflexology and its benefits, and have had a far-reaching impact on the field.

As the demand for professional reflexologists has grown, SRMC has developed a thorough and dynamic educational program. We have taught reflexology techniques to thousands of students through the years, enabling them to help themselves and many others. Our dedication has helped us become a leader in reflexology education in the United States.

SRMC has a reflexology program of exceptional quality—one of the most extensive in the Western United States. We prepare students aspiring to become Nationally Certified by the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) and provide ARCB Certified practitioners with classes that qualify for ARCB continuing education requirements. SRMC is approved as a provider of continuing education by the American Reflexology Certification Board (Provider # P00119). As often as possible we host teachers Nationally Accredited through the American Commission for the Accreditation of Reflexology Education and Training (ACARET).

Lisa Hensell, owner of Seattle Reflexology & Massage Center, is highly committed to the continuing evolution of reflexology education at the Center and around the world. She participates in local, national and international reflexology communities in order to keep herself and her students up to date with the most current information in the field.

SRMC is located in a charming 1914 historical building in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, just west of the Seattle Center and Key Arena. Our office is staffed Tuesday—Friday. Reflexologists are available for appointments Monday – Friday and some Saturdays.
