About Reflexology and MassageWhat is Reflexology?Reflexology is a natural science and art used to promote
overall health and well being. It is a simple and noninvasive
healing modality requiring no drugs, medications or special
equipment. Reflexology is based on the principle that the feet, hands
and ears are microcosms (mini-maps) of all systems of the body. Specific
manual pressure to any of the microcosms stimulates the corresponding
part (reflex) of the body as well as the nervous system. Focused
stimulation of the reflexes helps release stagnant toxins, thereby
reducing stress on the body. This in turn helps improve
circulation, restore energy flow and vitality to all systems of the body and
promote internal balance.
Benefits of Reflexology:
Massage is a wonderful way to maintain health and helps to reduce susceptibility
to illness and injury. The relaxation fostered by massage is a very effective
means to rejuvenate the nervous and muscular systems, improve the health
of skin, promote digestion and enhance circulation of blood and lymph.
